Charleville
Arriving in time to explore by bus the wonderful town of Charleville situated in the heart of the Mulga Country on the banks of the Warrego River, with its famous Historic Hotel Corones and the Royal Flying Doctors Service. Visit the Cosmo Observatory and explore the Australian night sky.
Birdsville
On route from Charleville to Birdsville we follow the Cooper Creek to Lake Yamma Yamma where you will see an abundance of bird life. Birdsville is a small outback town situated on the Banks of the Diamantina River between the sands of the Simpson Desert and the gibbers of Sturts Stony Desert. See the beautiful sunset from the Big Red Sand Dune.
Alice Springs
A thriving spirited outback town known for its stunning MacDonnell Ranges which stretch east and west. Discover the ancient landscapes and Gorges surrounding Alice Springs as well as its famous Desert Park.
Uluru
The Ancient red rocks Uluru, formerly called Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta also known as The Olgas are icons of the Northern outback. Uluru is one of the great natural wonders of the world and considered by many to be the
spiritual heart of Australia.
Kununurra
See the natural wonders and rugged ridges of the Bungle Bungle Ranges estimated to be over 350 millions years old and be awed by the magnificent Lake Argyle which is so vast its rated as an inland sea at 9.5 times the size of Sydney Harbour and home to the Lake Argyle Diamond Mine.
Mount Isa
Described as an oasis of the outback nestles amongst the ochre-red Selwyn Ranges on the banks of the Leichhardt River. Mount Isa is a major mining town with the skyline dominated by a huge chimney from the smelter which can easily be seen on approach to the town.
Winton
Winton is an outback Queensland Town known for its links to Qantas, the Great Shearers strike and more recently for the discovery of 'Elliot' the largest dinosaur skeleton in Australia. Home also to Waltzing Matilda and Queensland
Boulder Opal.
Longreach
The home of Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame a tribute to our Outback heroes as well as Qantas Founders Museum, this world class attraction commentates the founders of this great Australian company that grew to become internationally and recognised as a leader in world aviation.
